5 Things We Love To Do in Regina SK

Sometimes professionals websites are all too stuffy. We want to change that and show you a glimpse of who we are. So we came up with 5 things we love to do in Regina on when we’re enjoying the days off that Dr. Rusteika grants us!

About Regina SK

Regina is the capital city of the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. The city is the second-largest in the province, after Saskatoon, and a cultural and commercial centre for southern Saskatchewan. Below is a list of our 5 Favorite Things To Do in our beloved city.

#1 Spend an afternoon at the Regina Farmers Market

One of the best things about the Farmer’s Market in Regina is that they are open year round. It’s the perfect time to meet a friend for coffee or simply browse around to see what the local vendors have to offer that week. During the summer months, you can also catch a few food trucks at the market, which is your perfect opportunity to get some of that local or homecooked cuisine. Directions

#2 Adult Nights At The Science Centre

Dentistry, science, same thing right? We like to get our nerd on now and then too. The Science Centre hosts a night of fun activities all things science. Each Adult Science Night has a different theme with different experiments, activities, or even special guests. Check out the schedule for the next Adult Night. Directions

#3 – Going For Walk or Run At Wascana Park

Did you know that Wascana Park is larger than New York City’s Central Park and Vancouver’s Stanley Park? Whether it be a warm sunny afternoon or a crisp winter morning, the amazing scenery to see as you get your fitness on for the day is simply stunning. If the scenery isn’t enough, it’s also the best place stay clear of roadways to get a run/walk in. Directions

#4 Go For In Victoria Park

It’s always fun to lace up the skates and get outdoors with the family. No better place in the city to do it than down at Victoria Park’s outdoor skating rink. The rink is open through the winter season, check out their Instagram page for dates, times and scheduled events. Directions

#5 Catch a Live Sporting Event

This one may have been hijacked by Dr. Rusteika himself, given his affinity for sports, lol. We’re blessed to have an abundance of sporting teams in this city to go watch throughout the year. Whether that be joining RiderNation and cheering on the Saskatchewan Roughriders, catching some WHL Hockey action with the Regina Pats, or Western Major Baseball and the Regina Red Sox, there is a fun evening or afternoon to be had.
